What do we do?

Applifier helps players discover fun games and delivers new users to games for free. We pioneered cross-promotion on Facebook with the Applifier Bar and grew it to reach tens of millions of users. We’ve already delivered over 100 million free clicks to the promoted games.

Everyplay GameAds

Everyplay GameAds is video ad network for iOS and Android. Game developers use GameAds to find highly engaged new users and to monetize existing audiences. Companies like Fresh Planet (Song Pop), Tetris Online and King.com are clients.

Even more cool is that the press dubbed us the Rebel Alliance. How often do you get a chance join those ranks?

Everyplay Replay Sharing

We are building social 2.0 for mobile games with Everyplay, which allows players to easily share their greatest gaming moments as video replays. Everyplay connects players together and powers a rich community for games. Everyplay lets you create more personal multiplayer gaming experiences with player-to-player video messages and action replays.

With Everyplay, developers get better discoverability through word-of-mouth as video, increased retention with an engaged player community and higher monetization by making multiplayer games more social. In a market where small and medium-sized mobile game developers are hit hard by ever increasing install prices and market consolidation looms, Everyplay delivers free users through word-of-mouth as video and keeps them playing with meaningful video sharing.

We want to work with you if you are passionate about building a mobile gaming network that powers small and medium-sized game developers. We are bringing a superior service to market for free, and have already signed up developers with games reaching over 100 million downloads. We’ve got a kickass engineering team, proven track record in helping developers grow and we are gunning for huge market opportunity. Are you ready to rumble?

Senior JavaScript / Backend Developer (Helsinki)

You know the programming language that was used to just make annoying stuff in Netscape Navigator 4.7?

It’s popular now (if you haven’t noticed), and we really love it.

Actually, most of our tech stuff is built with JavaScript, starting with the client stuff (which is built with lovingly hand-crafted frameworks in some case, or Backbone.JS in some other cases), all the way to the backend (where we <3 Node.js). Some stuff happens between these two, and it’s done with JSON, and that’s like JavaScript too, right?

So, now we’re looking for someone to join our bunch of merry server hackers in our Helsinki office. To qualify, you should have a solid background in software development, preferably in positions where you’ve already had to take initiative and make decisions on how things are done, rather than have someone handing you UML diagrams to implement.

You should have a strong experience in backend development, Javascript, Java and NoSQL/SQL, and a burning passion to master complex, high performing systems. We’d hope to see you are active in the tech community or otherwise passionate and engaged with code and open source projects.

Also, you should like bad jokes. Must like dogs.

Your job

  • Backend magic with e.g. Node.js, Redis, MongoDB and Cassandra
  • Manipulating huge amounts of data with SQL (we use Amazon Redshift)
  • Creating high performance components with Java (No, we do not use enterprise java, but our Amazon Kinesis event stream processors are made with plain old Java)
  • Development of complex, highly scalable and robust architecture elements and features for our products
  • Front-end experience (e.g. Backbone.js, iOS/Android) and ability to quickly grow into a full stack developer will not be left unnoticed

We offer

  • A workplace where diversity is valued
  • Lunch and exercise vouchers, Friday breakfast, FFA foods and top notch Macs
  • A music room made for those who are or want to become rock stars
  • The cutest office dog Nella – she is as cute and fluffy as million teddies put together (no, not talking about the movie Ted) and makes Mondays a lot nicer
  • And of course, the chance to work with the coolest technologies and an opportunity to be part of changing the mobile gaming industry

Interested? If you got a bingo from our buzzword stack we would like to hear from you! Send your resume and cover letter to jobs@everyplay.com. Use the job title as the message subject.

JavaScript / Full-stack Developer (Helsinki)

You know the programming language that was used to just make annoying stuff in Netscape Navigator 4.7?

To qualify, you should have a solid background in software development, preferably in positions where you’ve already had to make decisions on how things are done, rather than have someone hand you UML diagrams to implement in C#.

You should be interested in being a full-stack programmer, rather than being a niche-hipster who refuses to work on anything except the framework you’ve probably never heard of. It’s ok if you’re not there yet, but you should have a strong experience in either frontend or backend development, and a burning passion to master the other as well.

Also, you should like bad jokes. Must like dogs.
